Côte d'Azur: the blue coast... Amongst the larger cities in the south of France (St. Tropez, Nice, Cannes...) there are hundreds of tiny towns that are hidden away in the lush greenery. Two of my favorites were Villefranche sur Mer and Eze. These places aren't tourist heavy, making it a relaxing little hide out.

Cannes, Cannes, Cannes. Although I'm not an A list celeb with a VIP ticket to the festival, I fell in love with this glamorous place on the French Riviera. The shops along La Croisette (Chanel, Ferragamo, and Miu Miu galore!) have an ocean front view to the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Literally, picture perfect. The food and nightlife is fantastic too, as Cannes is the hot spot for jet setters from around the world.

Besides the One Direction concert, the south of France was by far the best part of my trip. I had never been to this region of France before, and it lived up to all of the high expectations I had. Everywhere I went was so rich with culture and natural beauty, that I had to keep asking myself, "how is this even real?" Without a doubt the most stunning places on this Earth.
The first city I explored was Nice-- no wonder this area is known as the Cote d'Azur... the gorgeous weather we had made the crystal clear water irresistible for afternoon swims.
